5 years of Red Fox Advisory Video
Building a business from scratch, just before a worldwide pandemic taught the new Red Fox Advisory Directors to be flexible. A vision to offer clients a different approach to engineering consultancy in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical and Contract Administration has paid dividends.
From 2 starters in 2019, Ben Schnitzerling and Anthony Schmidt as Co-Directors, the Red Fox Advisory team has grown to 40 skilled and passionate engineers and specialists across Queensland and Western Australia.
From the first days, where no one called, to today having completed multi-million projects, bridge design and constructions, rail infrastructure development, contract administration and dispute resolution to so much more our team continue to excel. In this video we asked each Director to share the success of Red Fox Advisory, their vision for the next five years and how to create value in a challenging environment.

Red Fox is proud to be part of a Sunshine Coast social project being delivered by Stockland. The new bridge will provide the Birtinya community with new east-west connectivity across Lake Kawana.
Thanks to our client Stockland for the opportunity to be entrusted with this unique project, and for allowing us to share our design strategies on this iconic project via an Engineers Australia online event.
Our Red Fox team of Bridge Engineer, Kevin Cheng and Technical Director Marty Scrogings, Stockland Project Director Paul McDonald, and LatStudios worked closely to achieve an astute balance of elegant engineering, cost- efficiency, and appealing design aesthetics that symbolises good engineering.

Why design engineers must be more courageous
Recently Ben Schnitzerling, co-founder and director of Red Fox Advisory, was interviewed by Engineers Australia for 'create' digital to share his thoughts of the construction and engineering sectors.
Having witnessed the evolution of the industry over the past four decades, Ben has formed the opinion that engineers need to look at more innovative ways of design which address clients' requirements, reduce cost, and increase efficiency and sustainability. Sometimes this calls for a more courageous approach to a problem.

Bridge to Brisbane 2023 Fun Run
The Red Fox Advisory team took part in the Sunday Mail Transurban 2023 Bridge to Brisbane Fun Run over the weekend.
Apart from being a great way to stay fit and active, it was also a good opportunity to get some Vitamin D and endorphins, and hang out with the members of the Red Fox pack.
Some participated in the 10km run, the 10km walk and the 4.5km walk, but all enjoyed the day, taking in the activities along the course - there were DJs, acrobats on stilts, and the Opera Queensland underground performance in one of the tunnels was really inspiring!

Supporting the next generation of engineers
In collaboration with The Engineering Link Group, three of our Red Fox Advisory team members were on hand to share their skills and expertise with the next generation of engineers at St Aidan's AGS recently. The St Aidan's students participated in the 2023 Spaghetti Bridge Building Competition, proudly sponsored by the QLD State Government and Engineers Australia, which engages senior school students in a fun and challenging exercise which tests their problem-solving and engineering skills.
Teams are challenged to construct the strongest bridge using only dried spaghetti and glue. The strength of each bridge is then tested at the competition, and the one which can hold the heaviest load wins. Evan, Kevin, and Kartik, from our Civil and Structural Engineering team, attended the Competition to work alongside the St Aidan's students, providing assistance with the bridge construction.
Thank you to The Engineering Link Group and St Aidan's AGS for giving us the opportunity to support STEM initiatives in schools. The future of engineering excellence in Australia depends on engaging more children and young adults (girls in particular, who still only make up 18% of students graduating from engineering and related technology subjects), to study Engineering disciplines and forge a career in STEM. The next generation coming up through St Aidan's AGS is certainly filled with talent.
A huge thank you to Evan, Kevin and Kartik for making the time to support this initiative!
